Welcome to Ten Thousand Villages of Austin!
Ten Thousand Villages provides vital, fair income to people in developing countries by marketing their handicrafts and telling their stories. Ten Thousand Villages works with artisans who would otherwise be unemployed or underemployed. This income helps pay for food, education, health care and housing.
Join us for First Thursdays!
South Congress on First Thursdays are a-rockin! So is Ten Thousand Villages. We are open until 10pm...AND...we have a house band. Come and listen to the L.P.'s on First Thursdays starting at 6pm. We have plenty of fair trade insturments to play along and enough room to dance. See you there!
